Since 1998, Jeff Ward has been a part of the Austin afternoon commute.
 
He took over the afternoon show at KLBJ-AM when it was ranked 16th in the Central Texas market, and he quickly turned the coveted drive-time slot into a consistent top two performer among all radio formats.
 
He is a five-time winner of the Austin Chronicle's "Best Of Austin" readers' poll. In addition, he's been featured on the nationally-syndicated program "Beyond the Beltway," he's been profiled by Austin Monthly Magazine, and KVUE television's feature on "Austin icons."
 
In addition to his radio show, he has been a long-time Lecturer at The University of Texas, teaching marketing and advertising management.
 
He has hosted Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year Awards," and he is a past recipient of an Addy Award, the highest honor given in the advertising industry.
 
He has multiple degrees from The University of Texas, and has been nominated as an Outstanding Young Texas Ex. He also serves on the board of Audiodellic, a mobile marketing start-up based in Boulder, Colorado.
 
While at UT, he was a football team captain, a member of the Athletics Director Academic Honor Roll, a three-time all-conference player, a two-time All-American, and he still holds the NCAA record for game winning field goals.
