Westlake Chamber of Commerce Hosts
Community Forum on Transportation
On Tuesday, October 13, the Westlake Chamber of Commerce will host “Yield to the Future: Changes to your Commute,” a free community forum on transportation. Sponsored by RBank, this forum is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. at the Westlake High School Performing Arts Center.
Several road projects are under consideration in and around the City of West Lake Hills that may affect your commute and lifestyle in the next few months. Whether you live, work or just drive through our community, this transportation forum will provide the information you need to make decisions on how you can manage the proposed changes to traffic flow!
Learn what these projects are and the plans to best minimize their impact on business owners and residents. The forum panelists are Dave Claunch, Mayor of the City of Westlake Hills; Mike Heiligenstein, Executive Director of the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority; Gerald Daugherty, Travis County Commissioner, District 3; Bruce Byron, TxDOT Austin District Public Engagement Officer; and Tom Leonard, Eanes Independent School District Superintendent.
Sponsored by local businesses RBank, Community Impact, The Woodhouse Day Spa, Pinkberry, this will be a community forum you don’t want to miss.
